AUTUMN AT RAMJS
The autumn term at RAMJS is a vibrant and meaningful time for everyone. It is a
time for reflection, faith and community. We've celebrated several important
events, including Remembrance Day, Diwali and Odd Sock day as part of
Anti-Bullying Week. The children also enjoyed supporting Children in Need by
coming to school in spotty clothes and pyjamas; this event helped raise
awareness and funds, with generous donations from our families. Our Remembrance
assembly was especially moving, as the children showed great respect when
observing the silence.
Remembrance Day
The year 3 Nest (Nurturing & Emotional Support Team) children have worked hard
to create digital remembrance artwork on the computers using Purple Mash.
Through creativity and thoughtful design, they crafted beautiful tributes that
reflect the themes of remembrance and respect. The whole school completed work
for a Remembrance display.
Artwork
Year 3 have also created some wonderful artwork inspired by Lowry. They explored
his unique style, capturing scenes of everyday life with their own creative
touches. Their artwork showcases Lowry's characteristic matchstick figures,
bustling townscapes and colours, beautifully.
Diwali Art work
Here are some examples of the Diwali art work created by our pupils.
Wood End Farm
Year 4 have been to Wood End farm this half term. They represented our school
with outstanding behaviour and enthusiasm. They demonstrated our school values,
especially respect and were a credit to us all. We are immensely proud of them
all. They have done some great work about what they learnt too.
Now, as we move into the Advent season, we are all preparing for Christmas- a season filled with joy, giving and celebration across our school community.
