RECKLINGHAUSEN NEWS

It was in 1987, that our twinning with the Methodist Church in Recklinghausen in Germany started. Since then, we have had an exchange usually every two years. In June 2020, all our plans were ready to welcome a group of about 20 of our friends to Fulwood.

Unfortunately Covid and the lock down arrived, so all our plans had to be cancelled. With the approval of our Church Council, we have sent a new invitation to our Recklinghausen friends to visit us in 2025. We hope to hear from them in the New Year and we will keep you informed of any plans for a future visit. Their magazine can be read in English via a link on the front page of the church website.
