IDEAS
I am really old and very decrepit, So I thank the Lord for imagination. It means I can be young and ever up for it, Enjoy every field of recreation. |

I can imagine myself an active lad, I run and jump, I climb and swim. I get fagged out, but it makes me glad, To be healthily full of vigour and vim. |

JUST ONE One song can spark a moment, One flower can wake a dream, One tree can start a forest, One bird can herald spring. One smile begins a friendship, One handclasp lifts a soul. One star can guide a ship at sea, One word can frame a goal. One vote can change a nation, One sunbeam lights a room. One candle wipes out darkness, One laugh will conquer gloom. One step must start a journey, One word must start each prayer. One hope will raise our spirits, One touch can show you care. One voice can speak with wisdom. One heart can know what’s true. One life can make a difference, You see, it’s up to YOU! |

MAY HAS COME When fishes leap in silver streams, And tender corn is springing high, And banks are warm with sunny beams, And twittering swallows cleave the sky, And forest bees are humming near, And cowslips in boys’ hats appear, And maids do wear the meadow’s bloom: We then may say that May has come.
